The following checklist is intended to assist organizations in establishing or updating the pandemic planning portion of their business continuity plans (BCP). It is important to note that pandemic planning is just one part of the ongoing, cyclical business continuity planning and management process of identifying an organization's risk of exposure to internal and external threats. The goal is to provide the organization with the ability to effectively respond to threats such as global infectious disease outbreaks if and when they might occur, and protect the business interests of the organization.
